Maloney Alumni Dollars for Scholars® is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization in Meriden, CT that supports academic success in our community.  As part of Scholarship America's® national network of locally based, volunteer-driven Dollars for Scholars® chapters, our mission is to mobilize our community on behalf of postsecondary education success for our students.

Building a Brighter Future for Maloney Students

The Maloney High School Alumni Scholarship Fund, now named Maloney Alumni Dollars for Scholars®, was conceived following the 50th Reunion of the Class of 1971. By funding the Scholarship through alumni contributions, we seek to "pay it forward," and to acknowledge the important roles that Maloney High School and the City of Meriden have played in our lives.

Together, we can create a legacy of education, opportunity, and community support that will resonate for generations to come. Join us in positioning the bright, ambitious youth of Meriden on the path to success.

Our goal is simple yet impactful: To acknowledge and give back to Maloney High School and the City of Meriden by investing in the education of its future leaders. We aim to support students who embody the spirit of community, excellence, and resilience - qualities that define Maloney and its alumni.

The Maloney High School Alumni Scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors who will be continuing their education at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school. 

The scholarships will be available only to Maloney High School students.
